Permars of North Carolina
Where did the Permars come from?? There are stories that the Permars came from France, Spain, or England. There are stories that three brothers came together into Charleston, SC and each went a different direction, agreeing to meet back in Charleston in three years. One brother went West, one brother went North to Ohio, and one brother went to North Carolina. The story goes the Ohio brother and North Carolina brother met in three years, but the West brother was never heard from. Was John, the Ohio brother and William the North Carolina brother? Who was the West brother? Another story says the brothers came to fight in the was between England and the American colonies from France?? Would love to know what information you have on the Permar Family.
