the calendar system was changed from julian to gregorian in 1752 in england and the american colonies.
george changed his birthday date to feb 22.
this is why, 11 days(sep 3 thru 13) were removed to correct the accumulated error.
new year's day was changed form amrch 25 to january 1.
nate that march 25 is 9 months before december 25, it was the presumed date of conception of jesus.
some people who lived druing sept, 1752 , left their birhtdya dates the same, and others changed the date so that they would be the correct number of days old by a simple calendar calculation. this is what george did.
