william permar
william permar lived in tuckahoe hundred area in caroline county, md., in the 1700's. he died in 1779.
william's son james and grandson james, jr stayed on thefarm from 1777-1820. all members left the area for some reason and in 1830 were farming in middletown twp, delaware county, pa. henry, son of james.
they continued to farm in this area in the 1870's and were good farmers and large farm producers in delaware county for some time. when william died in 1779 his second wife remarried and moved with son, john to ohio. this were john permar established the permar line in ohio.

HENRY PERMAR BORN IN1821 DEAD IN 1887 WAS THE SON OF HENRY PRMAR BORN 1777 AND DEAD 1841. HENRY, JR, WAS THE TOP LANDOWNER AND FARM PRODUCER IN DELAWARE CO, PA IN 1860. HIS FARM BECAME THE DELAWARE COUNTY PRISON AND PRISON FARM.
